WTHS is a non profit 501c3 organization devoted to the preservation of Woodland Township’s unique Pinelands’ heritage, and to the dissemination of pertinent historical information to convey the legacy of the past to present and future generations. Woodland Township Historical Society was formed in 2000 by a handful of local residents with a desire to document the history of Chatsworth, Capital of the Pines, and Woodland Township. The Woodland Township Historical Society is devoted to the preservation of the unique heritage of Woodland Township in order to convey the rich legacy of its past to future generations.
